Important?

I read this from Shel Silverstein:

So, how important you are? Is is really good to be important? Not sure.
Just remembered the quoatation of Churchill when he said something like "Most of the people want to be important instead of being beneficial" or so.
To me, being important is not that important though. Having some kind of contribution to the world (which has been created long before us and will last long after us surly) is my desire.

  • Ah, but sometimes U "just" want to be the best U can be.
    And "Imporant" is very different from "famous" noiw, when porbably it was almost the same, when Churchill said that. Now everyone wants to be famous, more than important.
