Real Beauties

Wherever you go, on this planet, you'll see the beauties of nature. You know, everything is as it should be; Forests, deserts, springs, mountains, oceans,... all and all are posing themselves to make a beautiful world. There is no place made for inelegance or something. And the sky above? Yes. The sky is blue. Everywhere.

So what is the difference?
This is one of the very first questions I came up with as of my arrival to Japan. Is this all about nature? Surely not. So when we see a picture, why we wish to be there? What is the real joy behind the scene?

And here is what I've learned: This is all about us. Yes, we and thats all. You know, real beauties and joys are where the hearts are happy. Where the people treat eachother in a proper way. Remember, your feeling is not the one captured by eyes but the heart. So a blue sky may turn to a dark one to your heart if the people around you are not kind enough...

  • Or sometimes it's the exotic, the different from everyday. not that the evryday is unhappy, bu the evryday has always something that burdens us. The beautiful picture of somwhere far away that seems to convey peace and quiet, just relaxing you by looking at it, attracts bith for the mere beauty of it and for how different it is from our daily views.

  • Cyrus - I couldn't agree more. After 21 years of living outside Iran and away from my old family and old friends, I've learned that People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. I'm glad that we see eye 2 eye on this important subject. Thanx 4 reminding all of us. Cheers my friend, cheers :)

  • so true... and a problem with all of this is that we, as humans, are never satisfied. Why is it, that we always belive that what we don't have, is better?
Why are we not more concerned about enjoying (and see the beauty of) what we have today, than craving for tomorrow or longing for yesterday?????
