Shy or what?

Japanese, to many of us, look shy so that we may find it difficult to comunicate. This, however, is not the fact here and I'm 100% sure about it.
The problem with Japanese is that they are lost in this world. Lost between their cultural qualities and the western-style life. They learn to obey their parents, teachers, or whoever older than them (SEMPAI) without any objection. They, in fact, grow up in a man-ordered environment. Here, there is no room for women and children to say their feelings. Men work outside and women should serve them in anyway. And children are members of the school family not their real families.
On the other hand, there is a strong temptation in young generation to get close to western-style life. But the big contrast between these two makes it very complex. The resultant is a young generation which is unable to comunicate with the rest of the world. They just do not know how to behave when see people from other nations though they are very naughty among themselves. And their problem in speaking English makes it worse.
Just as an example to finish this post: According to a Japanese, if a Japanese kisses his kid it is like he had sex (sorry to be rude here) with his mother or so (according to their culture). So ...

  • I have seen Japanese people smelling their children instead of kissing them. That sucks. Touch is so powerful. Specially children they need to be cared and loved.
