The Sky

I was thinking to a new subject for today. But after reading your nice comments on previous post, I changed my mind and decided to say some words regarding to the previous post and your findings...

First of all, it seems that almost all of you are not looking at the sky quite often. How come?
Secondly- and as a reply to "me"- I should say that lots of things happen during a night and you miss them all if you simply ignore it. To many of us, life seems to get sophisticated day by day. But it is not the fact. See the stars? Still calm and bright. Bringing you nice moments of being yourself. So do not let the work take the whole thing. Better to leave for ourselves at least for a few moments.

And to those who saw a cloudy sky, you should try to see far beyond.

Those who missed the night and the beautiful sky, are missing it everyday. How often do you take a deep breath and watch the stars in a silence?

Aliens? No. Maybe we are the aliens or a reflection of someother people. It just reminded me the short poem of Shel Silverstein again:

##########
Each time I see the Upside-Down Man
Standing in the water,
I look at him and start to laugh,
Although I souldn't oughtter.
For maybe in another world
Another time
Another town,
Maybe he is right side up
And I am upside down
##########

And to all of you, as the last point of the post: The sky could be your heart...

  • Hey Cy, that was deep man. I will take your advise and see. But have ever tried to see behind the horizon? Been there, done that. It worked for me. Cheers :)

  • 1_This nice post reminded me of Robin Williams’s words in Dead Poet Society when he says to his students:” come on and stand on this desk and you can see the world from a different point of view."
2_I do love Shel stories too and I have "Falling Up" too. I was going to find something similar and send it to you but, Damn! I couldn’t find it.
3_ Cyrus, I didn’t want to use your comment section to say this but as I still see the same Link(Diary of an Iranian Teacher) in your blog so I would appreciate all who have linked to Diary of an Iranian Teacher edit the link to (Iranian Teacher XP) in the following address:

  • I usually do that actually...I could stay hours to watch it (day AND night!). And I do that whenever I can.. it just calms me and sooths me.
I might even get Miyuki tonight and go with her to the park after dark to watch the stars ;)
