Black & White

It was a black & white day here (in our campus) yesterday.

Why black and white? Well it is all about the entrance examination for MSc course. You know, Japanese dress formally in so many occasions and such examinations are among them.

And if you are experienced with Japan's life, you may know that almost all of them wear black coats and white shirts and of course dark-(blue,...) neck ties for such official occasions.

And if you are new here, they all look the same, you know.

Nice scene...

  • I always thought it was dark blue! Thay actually have the black ones for weddings and funerals!
A japanese was once explaining it as: people don't wanna call for attention! they prefer to get lost in the crowd! nobody feels confident enough to raise high in a crowd!... A Japanese proverb says:"A nail out of wood will be knocked untill it gets inside!" meaning never raise high or you'll be knocked inside!... How can we Iranian understand this! ABSOLUTELY no idea!

And thanks for the comment on my blog. I have no idea about blogrolling but I'll get to figure it out soon.
