Yes. It happened!

You know, I wanted to stay away of my blog yesterday. So I put those numbers there in order to get your response though seems that my dear friend, Saeid, came and ...

First of all, thanks to all of you my blog readers for your nice greetings and birthday messages. Saeid, me, Farzad, Sakura, Maryam,... Many thanks to all of you. You made my day a bright and happy one. Thanks and thanks...

And why did I wrote those digits? Well, I wanted to remind myself to write a post about Japan to those who are not familiar with Japanese calendar.

Actually, Japanese calendar is based on the year each emperor starts his work. For instance, we are in HEISEI 17 now. It means that current emperor has started 17 years ago. And I was born when previous emperor- named SHOWA- was on the job.

You know, it looked a little bit funny when I saw my birthday on my ID-card here. It was SHOWA 48. Then I laughed and said: Well, seems that I'm older than what I believed so far, 4 years if you take it as an Iranian year and 25 years for gregorian calendar...
