An advice

I was adviced by a good friend of mine, Arash, not to write about Iran negatively.

First of all, I've to say thanks to Arash, a friend of all times.

Secondly, what I should emphasis on, is that I'm not among those people who just see the negative points. However, going back to Iran was something close to death for a period of time. I was shocked by the things I was away from for the previous 4 years (when I used to live in Japan).

The fact is that the society, in it's whole form, is going down. Young generation is lost. Lost in a crazy world. And the old ones? We can not expect so much, you know.

The other side of the coin is that you can not find a perfect society. There are some advantages for each society but lots of problems as well. All you have to do is to find the best choice. You may have a peaceful life in a low level country but enjoy your happy life. This, however, needs to close the eyes which is sometimes painful, you know.

And my advice: As an Iranian, be helpful to your nation, wherever you are.

  • Dear Cyrus,
I haven't been back to Iran in 4 years. Is it really so dangerous to keep an honest blog? How sad....

May there be a soon end to so much sadness....
