Off-duty

There was almost nothing to do this week. It started with some sample preparation through sputtering, annealing,...

But it stopped because of the lack of facilities. Not due to the money shortage but because of the holidays. I was waiting for the gold crucible to come. You know, we use this crucible to melt chemicals. This is the only way we can make sure that the resulting mixture remains pure (un-affected by the melting pot). And still we are waiting. And the problem? Well, there was a small hole in it which resulted in waste of time...

Anyhow, I spent the whole week on preparation of my stuff for the trip and arranging the things such as house contract, ticket reservation. Where to? Iran of course (or better to say: Off course).
So please stay on the line as there will be two more posts coming today...
